How Seasonal Color Finder works

What the model observes, how results are selected, and where the limits are.

Two different ways to explore color

Photo analysis sends a prepared image to a visual model. The questionnaire compares your answers with heuristic rules for warmth, depth and clarity. Both return references from the same twelve-season library. Neither is a validated professional diagnosis.

The photo pipeline

Your browser checks the file type and size, resizes the longest edge to at most 1024 pixels, and re-encodes the image. The server checks the payload, decodes and re-encodes the JPEG again, then submits it through the configured gateway. It asks the model to inspect visible color appearance and photo quality, not identify the person.

Why we sometimes withhold a result

No face, multiple faces, severe blur, occlusion, strong color casts and exposure problems can prevent a useful assessment. A visible but inconclusive image can return insufficient evidence. Where two candidates remain plausible, both are shown. The product does not convert uncertainty into a made-up confidence percentage.

What is generated and what is written

The visual model supplies the result status, candidate seasons, observations and explanation. Palette HEX values come from the site's fixed library. Clothing combinations, makeup directions and hair-color suggestions are season-based editorial content. They do not establish your natural coloring or predict how dye will develop.

What we have checked

Development checks cover valid output structure, image decoding, request limits, uncertainty handling and basic API connectivity. A small number of test images has been used to check the flow. This does not establish population accuracy, consistency across cameras or equivalence to an in-person consultation.

How to use the answer

Start with existing clothes and compare colors in consistent indirect daylight. Consider current makeup and dyed hair when reading the explanation. If results vary, keep useful overlap rather than repeatedly seeking a definitive label. Explore practical articles or read the photo policy.
